Progressive Living.

PROGRESSIVE LIVING PROJECT- OUTSIDE UNIVERISTY

This project was a live brief I got given by Pomegranate Consultants (Manchester), The project required a brand identity for a new company they were launching called 'Progressive Living'.
Information About the company:
After a exclusive interview with the Director of Pomegranate consultants, I had a clearer acknowledgement of the company and its intentions, Progressive Living is going to be a company which sells high end up market apartments based in Manchester (for now). The apartments have already been built and they are nearly ready to complete with making offers however they have no brand which is why they asked for me to help them, Being good friends with Ansar due to my part time job at work, He asked me if I wanted the job and that he would pay for my services a fee of £100 for the brand if I can get it done.
Contract:
Due to past issues I decided to create a contract to protect me as a designer before attempting this project, Including copyright protection and payment details etc as shown below.

For full copies of the Contract I can email you.

Research:
To start off this project I looked into a few of the companies competitors such as Urban Bubble and Reid-Archtects. This gave me a idea of how corporate the logo would need to be and this also gave me a clearer understander as a designer of the quality the client expects as these logos are very professional but minimal.
Design:
Using inspiration from the companies research I created a PDF file to show the client a few ideas of a logo for the brand (down below)
Meeting:
After sending this off I was asked to come into the office for a meeting with them all, where they said what they liked and disliked, The director came to a decision on one of the logos which he thought looked 'Fantastic' as it goes with the name Progressive in the brand. The one thing they did not like was the purple colouring and asked me to do the same in red for the selected logo.
Taking the feedback I went to work at refining the logo, and also produced a letterhead and invoice; from inspiration from last years Live Brief on Navarino Electric Systems to show the client how the logo would work on paper.
